DelayPay and Rural Aid join forces to support farmer in need

Rural Aid has teamed up with Buy Now, Pay Later provider DelayPay to deliver meaningful support to a farmer doing it tough in Peak Hill, New South Wales.

With many regions facing prolonged dry conditions, practical assistance remains essential for helping farmers stay on their feet. DelayPay and Rural Aid have combined resources to provide $5,000 of on-farm support for a local producer.

Rural Aid CEO John Warlters said he welcomed support that delivered real impact for farming families.

“Rural Aid and DelayPay share a deep commitment to supporting farming families and sustaining the heart of our rural communities,” he said.

“Drought and other challenges leave a profound, often unseen impact on regional communities, affecting not just farms, but the lives and livelihoods of everyone who calls these areas home. Through initiatives like this, Rural Aid ensures that no farmer faces these hardships alone, and we are thankful to DelayPay for playing their part in standing with them.”

DelayPay Chief Financial Officer Anton Phillips-Chantelois said the company was proud to work alongside Rural Aid to ensure help reached those who needed it most.

“As a small business connected to regional communities, we are committed to stepping in wherever we can,” he said.

“While most of our operations are based in regional Victoria, we wanted to lend a hand to a farmer doing it tough in the Dubbo region. Rural Aid’s on-ground support makes it possible to ensure assistance gets to the right place.”

“We are grateful to Rural Aid for ensuring farmers receive the support they need, tailored to their individual circumstances and delivered when it matters most.”
